Educational Content Specialist (Part Time)

The Educational Content Specialist is responsible for supporting the creation and refinement of educational content for Lexia’s blended learning programs. This person will work on fast-paced projects that require adherence to deadlines, with product objectives and timelines, and at the direction of Curriculum team members while working collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues.

This part-time role will require up to 10 hours of work per week.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Support writing and creation of instructional content for curriculum programs with attention to factors impacting equity and accessibility for students

  • Support the creation and maintenance of documentation that supports activity design and development

  • Collaborate with project leads to ensure work aligns with product plans and pedagogical goals


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred

  • 3+ years relevant curriculum writing experience

  • Knowl​edge of Structured Literacy, Culturally-Responsive teaching principles, and Elementary Education

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
