Hi there! We’re looking for an exceptional Demand Generation Manager with deep expertise helping our SMB users find Zapier and self-serve into a multi-user plan.

This role will have an enormous impact on our strategy and how we model Zapier for our SMB customers. As the first demand gen hire, you will help our business customers be successful in self-serving into the product and optimize the funnel for a small sales support team. You’ll work closely with global marketing teams, our SMB initiative team, external agencies and product managers on the execution of efforts.

You’ll report to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Programs and work together to open a new function, open new lead gen channels, create content, build roadmaps, prioritization and vision guides. Your goal will be to drive long-term, scaleable success of Zapier by defining our approach to growing multi-user business accounts.

About You

  • You have 6+ yrs of driving lead gen across several different B2B channels and tactics
  • You have deep experience working with SMBs and know their terminology and needs
  • You’re fluent in funnel management and can move SMB leads down a self-serve funnel with limited sales support
  • You know how to optimize lead quality based on feedback loops with sales and ops
  • You’re experienced in nurturing leads once they’ve entered our database
  • You’re innovative and expansive by nature and have opened several different new lead gen channels that have proven successful
  • You can negotiate with the best of them and have proved this time and again
  • You can create a strategic vision and communicate it in a way that motivates stakeholders and builds buy in
  • You’re data driven and know how to measure impact and pivot as necessary
  • You’re a problem solver at heart and know how to move things forward with limited resourcing or roadblocks
  • You’re committed to being an awesome teammate. You work with appropriate urgency but are able to motivate cross functional teams with your passion and vision.

 What you’ll do

  • Create a strategic vision and roadmap to bring in SMB users to our business plans and get buy in from senior management
  • Open new lead gen channels, including negotiating rates, project managing content, design and partner needs, and build evaluation frameworks
  • Building out lead scoring and nurtures with Marketing Ops
  • Build dashboards that clearly communicate performance
  • Build collaboration across teams and bring others into your vision
  • Communicate learnings and find ways to scale wins.
